The next time you get irritated with a noisy co-passenger on your flight, remember you are not alone. Expedia India’s flight etiquette survey shows that 68 percent of air travellers detest sitting next to a loud and talkative person.

You may also recognise the other “irritants” — be it the seat-kicker or the person in the row behind you who keeps pushing your seat, or the cranky baby who refuses to fall asleep.

Nearly 30 percent of the 1,002 people surveyed also like to take a swig or two of alcohol either before taking off in case of a domestic flight or in the air in an international one. Not much of a guess that those who can’t hold their drinks are also quite irritating.
