Jan.23 -- Spending on prescription drugs in the U.S. hit a record $425 billion last year and demand for pharmacy services is growing as the U.S. population ages. And yet 50 percent of all Americans fail to take their frequently complex drug combinations correctly. Online pharmacy startup PillPack sees an opportunity to simplify the process by packing pills - not by type - but by the time and date they should be taken. Bloomberg's Doni Bloomfield visited the startup's headquarters in Somerville, Massachusetts.
