Markets Likely To Remain Rangebound Going Into Budget 2018, Dalton Capital Says

Dalton Capital Advisors thinks public sector banks’ recapitalisation would not give enough room for growth capital.

Indian markets are likely to remain rangebound, in the run-up to the Union Budget. That’s the word from Dalton Capital Advisors Managing Director UR Bhat.

It’s too early to buy public sector bank stocks at the moment, he told BloombergQuint in an interview. The government’s proposed recapitalisation would not give public sector banks enough room to generate growth capital, even though it might help cover their losses, Bhat added.
