Bengaluru-based Clientell, a software provider of sales forecasting and pipeline assessment for enterprises, has raised $2.5 million in a seed funding round led by Blume Ventures. Clientell said that the funds will be utilised for strengthening its products and expanding its team.

Chiratae Ventures, Artha Venture Fund and Z5 Capital also participated in the funding round. The SaaS startup had earlier raised $6,00,000 in funding from Chiratae Ventures and Artha Venture Fund.

The company also plans to use the funds for developing artificial intelligence tools, aimed at improving revenue operations and maximising sales execution.

“When the world is talking about 10x developers, we’re focused on bringing useful AI products to help 10x salespeople, CRM developers and GTM leaders," said Clientell CEO Saahil Dhaka.

The startup was founded by BITS Pilani alums Dhaka and Neil Sarkar in 2021. The company offers machine learning models and forecasting processes adapted to the requirements of its customers.

The company's products are intended to help enterprises increase productivity, reduce costs and improve the quality of their data, with chief revenue officers and go-to market leaders as its main users.

Sanjay Nath, founder and managing partner at Blume Ventures, said, “As AI penetrates different functions of the enterprise, an AI-first end-to-end connected approach will help sales teams to benefit immediately from deeper insights on their deals and revenue milestones."

“Clientell is targeting the leaky revenue bucket and the lack of comprehensive revenue intelligence and predictability for enterprise sales teams,” Nath added.
