Social media platform Facebook and its photo-sharing arm Instagram have been down for the past two hours now with some users reporting that they weren’t able to access the websites.

“We know some people are having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps,” Facebook said on its official Twitter handle around 9:00 p.m. “We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.”

Earlier Bloomberg reported that some users on Twitter had reported that Facebook was not loading for them. Later, users said the Instagram was down.
