Just 5% of EU Stimulus Supports Clean Power Shift

BNEF has analyzed the recovery plans of Italy, Spain, France, Poland, Germany, Romania, and Portugal, which combined will receive over 80% of the funds disbursed by the EU's biggest stimulus pot, the Recovery and Resilience Facility.

The majority of the stimulus spending will go to transport, buildings, and hydrogen projects, according to the eight plans, while 5% will go to renewables - mostly small-scale - and grid infrastructure.
