Commercial jets, fighter planes, drones and some high-flying acrobatic action—the Aero India 2019 show had it all.
The Aero India 2019 show is up and running in Bengaluru. The largest air show in Asia offers a platform for aerospace and defence manufacturers—both domestic and foreign—to display of their top offerings as well as allowing spectators to enjoy some high-flying action.
This year was no different with homegrown Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. taking the lead role at the Air Force Station in Yelahanka, Bengaluru. Manufacturers like Boeing, Airbus, Saab AB, Dassault and Embraer also showed up with their aircraft. This year’s edition also saw a ‘Drone Olympics’ that drew in teams from across the country with their prototypes.
