A four-wheeled robot is delivering water in a village in south India.

That's part of a project conducted by Amol Deshmukh, a research associate from the University of Glasgow who partnered with researchers from Amrita University. Husky, as the robot is called, delivered water to the 200 residents in Ayyampathy village of Tamil Nadu, the University of Glasgow said in a statement.

And while the response from the villages has been positive, the University of Glasgow said, the robot certainly doesn't come cheap.
