On the 7th of October 2017, Luxury and Couture Menswear label SS HOMME showcased their latest Bespoke 2017 collection labeled SSTRUCTURE at the Porsche Centre Mumbai in company of Porsche's luxurious 911 Carrera S with models showcasing the exquisite collection.
In addition to the models, the show saw some stylish men like Saqib Saleem, Arjun Kanungo, and Nowshad Rizwanullah walk through the crowd in stunning ensembles from SS HOMME. Also, seen at the event were a mix of fashion stalwarts and the crème da le crème of Mumbai such as Vikram Raizada, Malini Agarwal and Nowshad Rizwanullah, Rij Eappen, Meriam Ahari and Shane White Tanya Swetta, Kedhar Gawade, Shamita Singha and Sanea Sheikh.

Crafted from the finest suiting fabrics such as Italian, English Worsted Wool, pure blends of Cashmere, Silk and Mohair, each garment is finished with Corozo or Horn buttons and quirky Bemberg lining.A flair for contemporary design forms the bookends of SS HOMME’s vision to reconstruct classic Menswear to suit the avant-garde gentleman’s wardrobe.
Co-founders Sandeep Gonsalves and Sarah S. Gonsalves said, “We decided to draw a parallel between Porsche’s meticulous framework and SS HOMME’s intricate construction of a bespoke Suit. So naturally for the new 2017/18 bespoke line, while sticking to the brands signature aesthetics, we came up with a collection based on the finer details of an ensemble.
SSTRUCTURE comprises of all worsted wool fabrics handpicked from Italy and is crafted keeping in mind the au courant gentleman, looking for contemporary pieces with subtle twists. Geometric silhouettes, fabric Manipulation through pleating and tucking, and handmade accessories are all a part of design detailing that were part of the collection.”
The bespoke collection highlighted precise attention to sub structured silhouettes and exquisite quality of Italian fabrics that were used. Featuring signature razor-sharp cuts, the collection included handcrafted double-breasted suits stitched with horsehair canvas, convertible bandhgalas, sherwanis with modern silhouettes, and structured overcoats alongside angular geometric leather accessories that were made of hand made metal, bespoke shoes and briefcases to suit the au-courantgent.
