Dolat Capital Report

Bharti Airtel Ltd. in line with its stated position of Rs 200-ARPU in short-term and Rs 300 in medium-long term has taken the lead and announced ~25% tariff hike in entry level prepaid plans and 20% for data plans.

We expect Jio and VIL to follow with similar hikes as the industry structure stands stabilised, inevitable for VIL to improve its financials, for upcoming investments in 5G and on account of moderation in subscriber led growth momentum for Jio.
