The Indian rupee appreciated against the U.S. dollar this Tuesday, supported by a rebound in local equities and exporters' dollar sales.
The rupee ended at 74.65 to the dollar compared with 74.72 in the previous session.
The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex and the broader NSE index ended up 1.15% and 1.16%, respectively on Tuesday.
The benchmark 5.85% bond maturing in 2030 ended at Rs 98.52, yielding 6.05%, against Rs 98.64 and 6.04% yield at the previous close.
