KRChoksey Research Report
Reliance Industries Ltd. posted an 18.3% year-on-year decline in consolidated gross revenue in FY21 as the company faced headwinds in its O2C and Retail segments in H1 FY21 due to pandemic.
Both the volumes and realisations of O2C segment fell in H1 FY21.
Similarly, the retail segment experienced fall in sales due to store closure and lesser footfalls in H1 FY21 versus H1 FY20.
Reliance Jio or Digital was the only major segment with revenue growth during FY21.
Nevertheless, the company focused on growth initiatives within its consumer businesses (Reliance Retail and Digital) as it expanded its customer outreach by adding stores, strengthening its supply infrastructure, and launching JioMart within Reliance Retail business.
