Nirmal Bang Report
Power Mech Projects Ltd. has successfully transitioned from a power plant erection, testing and commissioning player to having presence across diverse sectors.
The share of non-power sectors in nine months FY21 order inflow/order backlog stood at 56%/41%, respectively.
Along with attaining sectoral diversification, one of the key business drivers is the rising prospects of a significant scale-up in the operation and maintenance segment.
The company intends to meaningfully increase its O&M order book from the current level of Rs 8.2 billion as on nine months FY21, led by
- increasing trend of central/state utilities awarding annual maintenance contracts for thermal power plants to the private sector and
- diversification of O&M in the non-power sectors.
