The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations released monthly vehicle registration data for November 2020. Below are the key takeaways.

Vehicle registrations for November 2020 saw one of the best recovery rates since unlocking on account of better-than-expected festive demand and marriage season amid increased preference for personal mobility.

However, vehicle registrations continued to remain low on YoY basis for all the segments, barring tractors and passenger vehicles.

42-day festive period witnessed good traction and the overall decline of 4.7% YoY was much lower than expectations.
