Ebitda at Rs 11.2 billion was 39% above our estimates. Alumina production for the quarter of 0.53 million tonne was 9% above our estimates, while alumina sales of 0.32 million tonne were 11% above estimates. Implied alumina realisations were $325/tonne. Aluminium production for the quarter was 114 kilotonne and sales were 126 kilotonne. Aluminium realisations were $2,826/tonne (up 57% YoY and down 9% QoQ), implying a premium of $158/tonne over average London Metal Exchange prices. Nalco's Q2 FY22 performance was strong on all fronts.
