Indian equity markets have been trading in a narrow range since February highs with mild profit booking witnessing at higher levels.

The consolidation post sharp run up is an overall healthy trend for the markets. Prior to this recent consolidation, Indian equity market have had a phenomenal run from the post Covid-19 pandemic induced lows last year.

Indian debt markets has seen selling pressure since the Union Budget, which further got accentuated by a sell-off in global bond markets. The benchmark 10 year G-Sec yield has moved up more than 30 basis points from the lows and is currently trading at around 6.20% levels.
