Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd. hosted Investors’ Day for Samvardhana Motherson International’s or SAMIL businesses.

SAMIL’s businesses are set to be merged with the listed entity as part of a restructuring scheme.

The senior management of SAMIL’s top-10 businesses (excluding Motherson Sumi Systems and Samvardhana Motherson Automotive Systems Group BV) provided vital insights on the businesses to be merged and the potential global opportunities.

Key highlights: In FY20, total revenues/Ebitda of SAMIL’s businesses (excluding Motherson Sumi Systems and SMRPBV) stood at Rs 28 billion (not on economic interest basis)/approximately Rs 3.3 billion.

SAMIL’s revenues are well dispersed across businesses with its largest business having revenues of approximately Rs 8.7 billion.

Also, there are few businesses like lighting, stamping, suspensions, etc., which are huge segments globally.
