Nirmal Bang Report

We attended the annual general meeting of Mold-Tek Packaging Ltd.

The most important takeaway from the meeting was the announcement of project injection blow moulding, which is essentially a foray into regulated pharma, cosmetics, domestic pharma and nutraceuticals segments over the next few years.

Mold-Tek Packaging is entering into the injection blow moulding technology.

Total capex requirement for this project is ~Rs 500 million for the next two years.

This opens up a huge opportunity for the company in our view, as the addressable market for these segments is ~Rs 50 billion, as per management.

Regulated pharma segment will take reasonable time to scale up as it involves DMF filings and U.S. Food and Drug Administration approvals etc.
