MCX - Average Daily Trading Volume Gathering Momentum: ICICI Securities

ICICI Securities Report

Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. has reported an average daily trading volume of Rs 328 billion in May (data up to May 14, 2021) versus Rs 368 billion/Rs 266 billion/Rs 266 billion recorded in the month of February/March/April.

(ADTV is based on 9.5 working days, as May 13, was half working day for the exchange).

ADTV grew strong 23% month-on-month led by increase in volumes.

Absolute month-on-month change in ADTV was Rs 64 billion driven by Rs 48 billion due to change in quantity traded and Rs 16 billion due to change in price.
