Nirmal Bang Report

In the second fortnight of May 2021, the second wave seemed to be ebbing, with active cases down by ~44.9% from the previous fortnight.

Meanwhile, the number of deaths increased by ~8.7% from the previous fortnight.

But, the pace of full vaccination (two doses) was down by ~75.9% from the previous fortnight to levels last seen in March 2021.

This is in all likelihood partially attributable to the decision to delay the second dose.

As of June 07, 2021 ~13.9% of the population has received at least one dose, while ~3.4% of the population has received two doses.
