Dolat Capital Report
We revisit the trifecta of structural risks highlighted in our note six months ago, where we were reasonably confident that container shortage would be the easiest to resolve.
However, we couldn’t have been more wrong as events unfold in the global freight market.
We now believe this could take as much time to resolve as copper and semiconductor chips for exactly same reasons-under capacity in the industry’s suppliers!
However, unlike the former two, freight not just impacts supply chains of consumer durable companies but also end user demand in export oriented businesses like the ones espoused by production linked incentive.
