Dolat Capital Report

In our channel checks across multiple dealers in various regions, the dealer outlook on the festive season remains cautious with neutral to positive sentiment.

Demand is lower for dealers as compared to last year, which saw strong pent up demand, though they expect it to improve over the festive season as discounts and schemes have started.

Most products, barring air conditioners, have taken a third round of price hikes in August in the range of 3-5%, taking the year-to-date price hikes to 15-20% to offset input cost hikes.

Dealers are also consciously keeping a lower inventory, to the extent of ~50% lower than last year, though this is also partly due to lower stock with companies.
