IDBI Capital: Banks Sectoral Credit Growth Continues To Slow Down

Credit growth continues to slow down further to 5.8% YoY for September month which was lower than 6.0% growth for August.

Credit growth continues to slow down further to 5.8% YoY for September month which was lower than 6.0% growth for August.

September growth was led by agriculture and services credit. Agriculture credit growth increased by 5.9% YoY versus 4.9% YoY in August (2.3% month-on-month).

From June onwards Industry growth showing a downward trend month-on-month and for September seen no growth at all and stood at flat YoY (August 0.5% YoY).
