With fiscal deficit of the central government pegged at alltime high of 9.5% of gross domestic product in FY21 and budgeted at 6.8% of GDP for FY22 – both much higher than expectations, it is believed that the Budget will help push growth higher, especially with all-time high growth of 28.4% YoY in total spending in FY21RE.
