HDFC Q4 Review - AUM Growth Improved; Restructured Assets At 0.8% Versus 1.2%: IDBI Capital

Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.’s asset quality improved as gross stage-III assets stood at 2.3% versus 2.7% QoQ led by individual portfolio.

Also, restructured assets declined to 0.8% (versus 1.2% Q2 FY22) of assets under management led by recovery in single corporate account.

Disbursements for individual loan segment grew by 37% YoY in FY22; March 2022 disbursements highest ever in a month. AUM growth improved to 15% YoY (12% YoY Q3 FY22) supported by non-individual portfolio.

HDFC's profit after tax grew by 16% YoY led by lower provisions (down 44% YoY). Net interest income grew by 14% YoY; net interest margins remain stable YoY at 3.5% while pre-provision operating profit grew by 8% YoY.
