Dolat Capital: Ambuja Cements Posts A Good Quarter, Valuations Appear Fair

Results were above estimates on all fronts except realisations. Ambuja Cements Ltd. posted 8.6% YoY growth in revenue to Rs 28.5 billion due to 8.4% YoY volume growth to 5.7 million tonne and 0.2% YoY (down 3.2% QoQ) realisation growth to Rs 5,031.

Ebitda increased by 54.7% YoY to Rs 6.8 billion and profit after tax increased by 87.8% YoY to Rs 4.4 billion.

The company has declared an interim dividend of Rs 17per share resulting in huge cash outflow Rs 33.8 billion.

Cash on books as on June 2020 stood at Rs 54.2 billion.
