Dalmia Bharat Ltd. added 4.3 million tonnes per annum capacity (including 2.3 mtpa at Bengal Cement Works, Midnapore) in FY21, taking its total capacity to 30.8 mtpa from 26.5 mtpa in FY20.
During the year, the company also completed the acquisition of Murali Cement Industry (3 mtpa), Chandrapur, Maharashtra under insolvency and bankruptcy code, which will be commissioned in FY22.
Dalmia Bharat company commissioned a 3 mtpa clinker manufacturing plant in Odisha as well and increased waste heat recovery system capacity to 21.7 mega watt from 9.3 MW along with increasing Solar Captive Power Plant capacity to 10 MW from 8 MW in FY20.
