IDBI Capital Report

Our interaction with cement dealers suggests that average cement price at all India level has increased by 12% month-on-month (Rs 43/bag) in April-22.

Just like petrol and Diesel, cement price increase has been on daily basis (frequency of Rs 5-10) in April-2022.

Due to price hike, demand has been weak.

But we understand demand to rebound in the coming months (as observed after every hike in the past).

Average imported coal price has remained volatile, as in the last few days it has again increased above $300/t (6000kcal).
