Anand Rathi Report

Softer demand due to unseasonal rains and high input costs would have kept cement companies’ Q3 performance under pressure. Prices, however, would offer some respite on the revenue front. They were partially rolled back due to weak demand, resulting in softer operating performance because of limited passing on of high cost.

We expect the companies we cover to have clocked 10% YoY revenue growth, whereas Ebitda/profit after tax would have declined ~11%/10% YoY.
