As a result, the industry’s operations continued even during this period.

The industry however faced some challenges in the initial phase of lockdown in terms of movement of healthcare workers, supplies of medical equipments and transport of drugs among others.

It is to be noted that while the industry was allowed to function smoothly, primary importance was given to the treatment of Covid-19 patients.
