Banks Sectoral Credit Growth Still Hovering In Range Of 5.5%-6.0%: IDBI Capital

Credit growth slide down in December month to 5.9% YoY from 6.0% YoY growth in November month, led by industry and personal credit growth.

Agriculture credit growth continues to remain strong at 9.4% YoY versus 8.5% YoY in November led by better monsoon across the country, higher MSP, and strong kharif and rabi season.

From June onwards Industry portfolio growth shows a downward trajectory; continues to decline in December month after some rebound seen in November month and reported 1.2% YoY versus -0.7% in Nov.
