This is likely to have been supported by improved disbursements. The bank’s deposit base stood at Rs 845 billion, implying sequential growth of ~3% QoQ (up 19% YoY). This was led by ~5% QoQ growth in current account and savings account deposits (up ~26% YoY). Thus, the current account and savings account ratio increased to 45.6% (versus 44.6% in Q2 FY22). Bandhan Bank continues to report healthy trends in retail deposits, which were up 4% QoQ (~26% YoY).
