Aviation Sector Update - Average Daily Fliers Drops Sharply To 1.93 Lakh: ICICI Securities

Weekly average daily fliers came in at 1,93,000 in the week ended April 17 versus 2,32,000 in the week-ended April 10.

For the week-ended April 17, average number of departures declined sharply to 2,130 vis-à-vis 2,300 in the prior week.

The number of fliers per departure declined to 90 from 101 in the respective weeks.

Daily fliers saw sharp dip in last three days of the week ended April 17 as total traffic reported on April 15, 16 and 17 stood at 1,76,000/1,75,000/1,82,000 respectively.
