Angel One released its monthly update highlighting the key business numbers for November 2021. The following are the takeaways:
Gross client acquisitions increased to 0.45 million in Nov-21 versus 0.43 million in Oct-21.
The total client base for Angel One stood at 7.32 million as of Nov-21. (up 6% month-on-month and 147% YoY).
Overall average daily turnover grew 9.5% month-on-month. Cash ADTO, after some recovery in Oct-21, once again saw some pressure in Nov and decline of 21% month-on-month.
The average funding book declined 17% month-on-month to ~Rs 15.5 billion, in line with the fall in cash volumes.
The number of trades stood at 104 million in Nov-21, indicating decline of 3% month-on-month.
The company started reporting the number of monthly orders for the first time, which came in at 57 million in Nov-21 (down 2% month-on-month).
