Former CMs Given Burial at Gandhi Mandapam, TN Government Argues

There are 3 memorials at Marina Beach - Anna, MGR and Jaya. It’s relevant to know that these leaders passed away when in office. For former CMs, if a request is made, they are always provided at Gandhi Mandapam - Rajaji, Kamaraj and Bhaktavatsalam.

Adding that sitting CMs & former CMs cannot be treated as equals when it comes to protocol.

Meanwhile, Madras High Court dismisses all petitions filed by Doraisamy, Traffic Ramaswamy and PMK’s K Balu challenging construction of memorials at Marina.
