Mphasis Ltd.’s deal pipeline has never been stronger.

“Despite record [deal] conversions two quarters in a row, our pipeline is still at a record high,” Chief Executive Officer Nitin Rakesh said in an interview with BloombergQuint’s Niraj Shah.

The technology services provider won $360 million worth of new deals in total contract value in the July-September quarter. The company also reported a revenue growth of 6% in constant currency and a 40-basis-point expansion in margin.

“Contrary to the belief that typically consolidation benefits larger players who have economies of scale, we have actually seen it playing for ourselves because of competency and capability,” Manish Dugar, chief financial officer at Mphasis, said in the same interview.

According to Rakesh, the management is confident of sustaining the "broad-based” growth due to “a combination of large deals, driven by competency capability, and the fact that we're seeing multiple transformation-led deals”.
