M&M Expects Volume Growth Momentum In Farm Equipment Segment To Continue

M&M sold about one lakh tractors during April-June period, an increase of 19 percent year-on-year.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. expects the volume growth momentum in its farm equipment segment to continue, driven by strong monsoon and rural demand, its group Chief Financial Officer VS Parthasarathy, told BloombergQuint in an interaction.

The company sold about one lakh tractors during April-June period, an increase of 19 percent from the corresponding period, a year ago, according to an exchange filing by M&M dated July 2.
