If you aren’t an ardent gamer, you’d be forgiven for thinking that video-gaming is simply a way to pass time. In reality, for the millions of gamers across the world and for the multi-billion-dollar industry it is a rather serious business.

So an expo, like the recently concluded E3, or the Electronic Entertainment Expo, in Los Angeles, California, was a chance for game developers to showoff what they’ve been working on, and for gamers to get a sneak peek of what’s in store.

Manish Emmanuel Rajesh, writer at gaming website Skoar!, has been a regular at these expos and feels the excitement for veterans like him isn’t the same as it used to be. That’s because with the pressure to bring new games into the market, developers are working feverishly to keep fans engaged.

There were still a few game developers that raised eyebrows and one in particular that was the cause of much excitement. In a conversation with BloombergQuint, Rajesh talks about the top games that are likely to hit the market this year and the next.
