World Pays Tribute To Physicist Stephen Hawking
Twitter came together to acknowledge Stephen Hawking’s ground-breaking contributions to the world.
British physicist Stephen Hawking, who made ground-breaking contributions to the world of cosmology and quantum physics through his black hole theory, passed away in the early hours of Wednesday.
Born on Jan. 8, 1942—the death anniversary of great philosopher and scientist Galileo—Hawkins passed away peacefully at his home in Cambridge, on the birth anniversary of another great scientist Albert Einstein.
As the news was confirmed, people across the globe took to Twitter to express their condolences.
