Trump Links French Protests With U.S. Treatment by EU on Trade

(Bloomberg) -- The “large and violent” grassroots protests in France don’t take into account how badly the European Union has treated the U.S. on trade or “fair and reasonable payments” for military protection, President Donald Trump said on Twitter.

Earlier this month, Trump used Twitter to make several comments related to France. In a series of tweets, he tackled trade relations, French President Emmanuel Macron’s approval rating and his visit to a WW1 commemoration ceremony.
