(Bloomberg) -- Republican Representative Hal Rogers, former chairman of the Appropriations Committee, won Kentucky’s 5th Congressional District seat, where he’s served since 1981, the Associated Press projected. He defeated Democrat Kenneth Stepp, which was widely expected.
