Polish President Has Unassailable Lead in Vote, Commission Says

Polish incumbent Andrzej Duda has an unassailable lead over his rival in the country’s presidential election, the state electoral commission said on Monday.

With more than 99% of voting districts counted, Duda won 51.2% of the vote, compared with 48.8% for his challenger Rafal Trzaskowski, the mayor of Warsaw.
