Poland Says NATO, Europe Should Have Common Stance on Huawei

(Bloomberg) -- The European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization should find a common approach toward Huawei Technologies Co. amid mounting concern about the Chinese technology giant, Polish Interior Minister Joachim Brudzinski said in a radio interview on Saturday.

Poland earlier this week detained an employee of Huawei in the country and a local former security agent, accusing them of spying for China. The company is facing increasing pressure across the EU.

“We want to have good, intensive and attractive relations with China; it’s a huge market,” Brudzinski said in an interview with Radio RMF FM.
