Prime Minister Narendra Modi's new-look council of ministers has been unveiled with the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party accommodating newer leaders and allies from various states.
Prominent BJP leaders like Jyotiraditya Scindia, Sarbananda Sonowal and Narayan Rane have all been appointed as part of Modi's new cabinet. Seven other ministers in Modi government including Hardeep Singh Puri, Anurag Thakur and Kiren Rijiju have been elevated to the union cabinet as well.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated his new-look Council of Ministers. "We will continue working to fulfil aspirations of the people and build a strong and prosperous India," he said in a tweet with a picture along with the new ministers.
