Modi To Rahul Gandhi, Leaders Mourn Jayalalithaa’s Death
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee expressed their condolences on Twitter.
News of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa passing away has created shock and disbelief across the country. The official announcement was made around midnight on Tuesday, just half an hour after the AIADMK supremo reportedly breathed her last at the Apollo Hospital in Chennai.
Various prominent politicians have taken to Twitter to express their condolences for the veteran leader, who first became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu back in 1991.
