Iran’s Zarif Says Talks with Macron Were ‘Constructive and Good’

(Bloomberg) -- Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said talks with French President Emmanuel Macron about the future of the landmark 2015 nuclear deal were “constructive and good”, the semi-official Iranian Students’ News Agency reported.

Zarif is in Paris to meet senior French officials, including Macron and counterpart Jean Yves Le Drian. He said both sides presented proposals related to their compliance to the nuclear accord as part of efforts to preserve the deal, ISNA said, quoting statements Zarif gave to reporters at the Elysee Palace on the sidelines of the meeting.
