(Bloomberg) --

Hungary is shutting its borders to all personal travel with the exception of nationals returning home, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said, announcing the latest measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

Shops and restaurants, with the exception of pharmacies and grocery stores, will have to close at 3 p.m. daily while all events will be banned, Orban told lawmakers on Monday. The government had already declared a state of emergency and closed schools from Monday.
