Hungarian PM Hopes New EU Commission Will Be Less Pro-Migrant

(Bloomberg) -- Hungary is biding its time in its disputes with the European Commission over migration policy and other matters as it regards the current executive in Brussels as obsolete, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said.

The commission led by Jean-Claude Juncker has “run out of time,” Orban told the state-run Kossuth radio in an interview on Friday. He hopes the new Commission that will emerge after 2019 elections will bring in a fresh approach toward countries like Hungary which didn’t let in migrants and will no longer favor states that took them in in large numbers.
