(Bloomberg) -- Foxconn founder Terry Gou announced on Wednesday that he planned to run for Taiwan’s presidency.
The Taiwanese billionaire told reporters earlier in the day that the Chinese sea goddess Mazu encouraged him to “come forward” to support peace across the Taiwan Strait. Gou said he would seek the nomination of the opposition Kuomintang party.
