Four Years Of Modi: GST Biggest Hit, Demonetisation Biggest Miss
GST was a good move but its implementation a sore point, say respondents to BloombergQuint’s Twitter poll.
Four years into the Narendra Modi-led government’s term, the Goods and Services Tax has emerged as its biggest reform action while demonetisation was the biggest miss.
That’s according to a Twitter poll conducted by BloombergQuint, inviting readers and viewers to respond with their pick of the top hits and misses of the Modi government in terms of policy action.

The introduction of the GST won praise from those who responded to the poll even as the implementation of the indirect tax regime was the sore point. The direct benefit transfer and the Swachh Bharat mission were among the other hits.
Most respondents counted demonetisation as the biggest miss of the government.

Misses:(1-toilets) Also,
A majority mandate has been allowed to squander away in inane schemes like Demo, costing the nation dearly where the oil largess of 2014-17 vanished, and the entire nation is paying the price.
Also
Hindutva.
Decision making is the most positive thing about this Govt. Bulldozing of all kinds of opposition views is the main negative feature.

One hit: insolvency law which should get rid of our entire NPA issue in due course. One miss: not reinforcing the Development agenda over everything else, every time. Stray voices can alter perceptions and give ammo to opposition
